Bon Homme Richard

Built from a Midwest Kit called the Cranberry Isle Lobsteryacht.  Because of the seaworthiness of the traditional New England lobster boats, builders used the hull design for pleasure yachts.  OAL is 30” and beam is 10”  Customized with running lights and working horn.

 

Caroline T.

The Caroline T. was built from a Midwest Kit called the Jim Wilder II.  It was based on a tugboat built in San Francisco in 1911 and operated in the bay area until about 1970.

OAL is 32” and beam is 9”.  The builder has photos of the original boat.  Construction photos of the Caroline T. can be seen at www.mhsd.org/model/carolt.htm
