Lewis Emery Park, Hillsdale MI

The shortest way is to get off I-94 in Jackson, taking M-60 to the west, toward Spring Arbor.
Then after that goes to two lanes from four, there will be a blinker light over the road at an intersection that only goes to your left. That is Moscow Road. Turn left onto that, up the hill. Take that a few miles, through the tiny burg of Horton. Which, if it was not marked, you would not know. Then at the stop for US-12, turn right. You will be going west again. Take US-12 west until you get to a blinker again, this time it will be Milnes road you are looking for. Follow the signs for the airport, they will also take you in the correct direction. This is a weird intersection, three roads come together at strange angles. Milnes will go to your left and is the one closest to a 90 degree turn. There will be another sign for the airport after you make that turn to make it a little easier. Milnes will end at State road. If you went straight, you would go to the airport.  The ponds though are to the right. About a mile west on State road, on a curve and down hill grade is Lewis Emery Park. Unless you have lived in town for a while and then you will call it the rearing ponds. It was a fish hatchery at one time
